FYI update April 19th (Patriots Day)

HB 671 just passed the house Judiciary committee 19-6 with 2 on leave. *Thanks* to ALL that contacted the Reps

This is step one, next step up for a full house vote, expecting about 150+/- amendments to be filed on HB 671 to attempt to block passage as has occurred in the past sessions and since the Republicans hold a majority & don't want to rock the boat.

expecting HB 671 to stall in house despite having more than enough votes on both sides of the aisle for easy passage.

Maybe on May 22 annual 2nd amendment rally day we can stiffen some spines

Came up with an analogy last night watching CBS 21's coverage of this. Ask the reporters, anchors, and InDUHviduals like Komrad Williams (D-Phil) "Would you ask a vegan who can eat meat, where it can be eaten, and who can sell it? So why do you ask those who want no one to carry or own a gun their nonsense opinion?"

the anti's when it was clear they would lose starting pulling amendment left and right

ALL kinds of different gun control were voted up or down on the 25th, and had they had the votes for passage we would have been worse than any surrounding eastern state NY, NJ, MD even CA

go view the votes (read the amendments) and you will see who support their oaths, to support, uphold and OBEY the constitution in HBG and which Reps don't!

why they don't got votes? is because of gun owners going to these annual HBG rallies to go lobby the elected officials and most importantly educate them on why all proposed gun control doesn't effect or equal criminal control

I pointed out the fact that no municipality but the state can enact gun laws so in effect, any local ordinance is 1)ineffective 2)can not be used to prosecute 3)is actually the cause of wasted tax dollars. I ask her to explain that. My post gets promptly deleted when I pointed out facts.

You might want to post this

April 25, 2017 - SB 5 Strengthening PA Firearm Preemption Law PASSED the senate 34 to 16!
April 26, 2017 - HB 671 Strengthening PA Firearm Preemption Law PASSED the house 134 to 53!

BTW All a local preemption violators has to do to avoid any court cost and ligation cost is simply repeal illegal their ordinances and respect the "Rule of Law".

Seems like "common sense" for elected officials to simply just obey the laws of the commonwealth of PA, which is really funny that all the anti-gunners often use the "common sense" statement in lobbying against constitutional protected freedoms, yet they don't have a clue of what "common sense" really means.

Another in a series of overwhelming majority votes by the both houses toward CeasefirePA having to pay up as promised, HAVE A NICE DAY!

    FYI

now got to blend them into one bill and vote it

then send it to Governor Wolf's desk

where its political hot potato for Wolf

IF Wolf veto's AS he would be breaking the support for the RULE OF LAW by the legislators.
As firearm preemption has been settled in the courts several time its a court loser for the gun grabbers.

That law breaking veto will then be a campaign issue then used in reelection race for governor by Wolf's opponent

Also a veto override is already being planned for just in case its needed.
