Now you have me wondering what I would need.

    Prick.

I'm currently in the final phase of completing a 7.62x39 build using the CAV-15 lower - but that one could use any lower if I decided to steal the CAV-15 for a 45 build.
Or I could just get another CAV-15 lower!

This hobby would be a lot easier if I could afford the things that pop into my head.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Nice build. For the price of the kit I could build two full AR rifles, lol. Always wanted a pistol cal AR in .45ACP but at that price I can't justify it.

If I do another pistol-caliber carbine (already got one - my 10.5" SBR'd PSA PA-9 that I still haven't gotten an upper for yet), it'll most likely be the Lone Wolf AR lower that takes Glock mags. The lower works with both 9x19mm and 40 S&W uppers (also distributed by Lone Wolf) and the magazines are the same form factor - which means one lower (naturally registered as a SBR) will work with both 9x19mm and 40 S&W magazines and upper receivers.

Now if only someone would come up with a lower that works with 9x19mm, 40 S&W and 45 ACP magazines and upper receivers...

Just found out about the CMMG MkG-45 Guard. Probably would've just went with that as opposed to building an AR45. I like the delayed blow-back feature. Here's a vid... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LREWSqcr7EM .

I've seen a bunch of 9mm kits, complete rifles and pistols that look pretty awesome, but I definitely wanted to go .45 acp. I used to have an H&K USC and a Kriss SDP at one time too (somebody wanted the USC more than I did, which I regret ). Also, with this build, I'm probably not going to SBR, now that BATFE says you can shoulder braces (for now).
