Case closed on this one, fellas. Tailspin delivered in a BIG way! It was a tough call after having the opportunity to handle the P220-10 and the RZ-10 back to back, but the Sig felt so right in the hand. That said, the trigger needs some real work to be considered acceptable in my opinion. It'll be a project one day.

Any chance you could document and post the trigger work you eventually do?

Sig is a nice choice! Do you do your own trigger work or send out to a smith?

Thanks again for everyone's input. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

If I end up doing it myself, sure.

I've done my own action work on Sig's "P" series, Beretta's 92, Ruger revolers, Smith's M&P, and AR-15's. I'd be plenty comfortable working on the P220, but I'm considering sending it off to Grayguns to see if they're really worth the money. A few years back I sent my P239SAS to Sig's Custom Shop for their "Action Enhancement Package," and I wasn't terribly impressed. After that experience I did the work myself on all of my other "P" series pistols.

The P220-10 had a date with my Lyman gauge last night, and my trigger finger didn't lie. 10 straight pulls of either 5lb 5oz or 5lb 6oz . . . talk about heavy for a SAO trigger.

I too was looking for a 10 and settled on the G20. With so many aftermarket mods, couldn't go wrong. Before I even shot it I had tritium sites and a 3# trigger on it. My first Glock and I love it. Very accurate with an awesome trigger. Shooting factory S&B right now but plan to reload soon. No complaints...

Can anyone speak of the Glock 29? I think it's considered a compact along the lines of a G19.
How is recoil and muzzle flip?

There's a used one at a shop near me for a not so bad price. I think I remember reading they're pretty tame.

I like my g29. It doesn't recoil that bad. It's accurate for a small gun. It just feels like a 2x4 in your hand.
