Effect of back taxes on PICS and NICS

I owe some taxes both to the Federal and PA. Will this affect my background check?

I owed Fed ..... a lot it didn't have any affect on me but I'm not a lawyer just my experience. (they have since received it the bastards)

I always understood it is not a criminal matter to owe taxes. I see state and federal tax liens as I do my job all the time in local courthouse's. They are filed in the civil courts, not criminal.

Not filing, or setting up offshore sham companies to avoid them, that's a different story.

Is there any type of reward for you? If so give me your address and I'll come over and help you with your tax stuff. We will get it all figured out and taken care of real quick.
