Default A favor; need list of open carry confrontations

I remember a few incidents where Pennsylvanians who were legally open-carrying got rousted by overzealous cops; Viper's incident with the Philly cops, the Home Depot case where the off-duty cop hassled a man; both of those incidents ended with the cops paying out significant sums, I think.

Anybody help with details on those and other incidents? Names, dates, outcomes, settlements, prosecutions, etc? Either post here, or PM me. Thanks.

Not much help. Wasn't there a case at the York fairgrounds or similar? There was audio and video posted here. 2010 or so?

There was some incident where someone entered an MDJ's office, acted weird and got arrested.

I think the Home Depot incident involved PAFOA user "truecrimson". Here is that one: http://forum.pafoa.org/showthread.php?t=34368

I'm unaware to any final resolution in the Dickson city matter (http://forum.pafoa.org/showthread.php?t=39086), which involved a group of folks, at least most of which are no longer are active here.

I was hassled at the polling place by a constable in November of 2007. LTCF was revoked, returned on appeal. No suit against "the man".

Mtn. Jack was charged with at least two charges for being *near*, not in, a presidential perimeter. He was found not guilty on both counts. No suit filed AFAIK.

shefearsnothing was revoked for open carry. LTCF returned on appeal. No suit filed.

Here's one that didn't result in arrest. http://forum.pafoa.org/showthread.php?t=170197

And then there was Mtn. Jack, arrested at the Obama rally in Beaver County.

ETA: And, of course, the Erie crew.

Thanks to all so far; I think the TrueCrimson, SFN and Viper cases may be helpful; I'll update you as to why, when I can.

I was stopped and/or questioned by Philly police several times several years ago. Nothing but a few minutes of inconvenience in most cases.

That is about the same level of oppression I faced with the Clifton Heights PD. THe Septa PD cuffed me during a stop because I did not consent to them seizing my gun. Chief Nestal implemented a training incident to address the improper actions of the Officers. I was satisfied with that and pursued it no further.
