I wasn't cuffed by SEPTA but was disarmed and detained. Following an IA investigation I received an apology from Chief Nestel (hand signed - woo hoo!) and a promise to better implement their open carry training.

They are still up to this crap? Because of the people that walked before me, I have had scores of cops see me carrying over the eastern half of this state from North to South and nobody ever hassled me for nearly 10 years.

As you are probably aware, people here also have copies of MPOETC training to cops from 2009 on. Regrettably, there are mistakes in it, but it still should help.

I've never had an issue in Lancaster, York, Harrisburg, Berks, Chester or Dauphin. Lancaster tends to be the most friendly it seems to me with people saying it's nice to see someone open carry.

Never had an issue in bucks but only issue i had was i was buying my stuff at the register and this lady came behind me then i saw her back off and hide behind a pole and grabbing her gun in her purse. Like i all most got shot for just open carrying cause someone dont know the law.

Welcome to the forum. Where did this event occur? Did the lady actually draw a firearm from her purse? Point it at you? Did you respond?
