Default Anderson AM-15 Multi Cal stripped lowers.

Picked up a Anderson AM-15 Multi Cal stripped lower and was wondering if anyone has done a build with these. They look like good quality.

I think it can only be used with 5.56/223 or 300 Blackout but not sure.

Also bought a bunch of 5.56 clips real cheap! They work really nice.

I have used 3 in the last 2 years and all have went together well with zero fitment or tolerance issues. I did have an issue with one of their stripped uppers which would not allow the take down pins to be easily pushed out. It took a large amount of force with a screw driver or a punch to push them in and out. I ditched that upper for a spikes and the rifle is excellent.

I have another 5 or 6 for just in case in the safe.

AM-15 can be used with any caliber the ar-15 platform supports including 6.5 grendel and 7.62x39 to name a couple of more. for the price they are good lowers.

i hope you meant stripper clips, if not be prepared. you've been warned.

Got a decent price of $48 for it.

Thinking of doing the 300 blackout.

    thats a good price.

I like the 300blk, it's a fun cailber but it's also expensive if you don't reload.

    GL with your build.

.300 blk doesn't serve much of a purpose unless you have a suppressor.

Post pic of those clips, interested in seeing how they are inserted in the lower.

I seem to have mellowed in my old age.
Hearing someone call a mag a "clip" used to send me over the edge.
Just don't mention Dick's Sporting Goods and we're good.

There are probably more Anderson lowers out there than there are people due to their low cost.
I think if they were junk we would have heard about it by now.

And yeah, you can use it for any caliber build you want.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!
