I'm still trying to cipher the democrat calculus on this. Gorsuch just gets the court back to where it was before Scalia was snuffed out. even that aside, if they can keep the seat open for 4 years or get a liberal judge. they will only be truly happy when the SC votes in their favor every time, all the time. every decision 8-1 or 9-0 in their favor.

But that simply will not happen. We have the Senate (at least for now) and Gorsuch is a done deal no matter what they do. Hopefully, the next opportunity comes along soon which will also be unstoppable. SCOTUS was the main reason I was an anyone but hillary voter and got behind Trump despite his warts.
