Re: reloading for sw9ve
The Glock "kaboom" is nonsense. I run only reloads in my G17 for about 10 years and 30k rounds. No kaboom yet. Read some books, watch some videos on reloading manufacturer websites. Not dumbass people on YouTube. It's not difficult but you better know what you are doing.
I shoot whatever brass I find on the ground. I've tried all kinds of powder and bullets and I can't see a significant difference in accuracy. If i can get it I use Titegroup, Federal primers and Precision Delta 115 gr FMJ bullets. My next purchase will be from the Blue bullet company. They are coated lead and super cheap.Any vote for a third party is a vote for a Democrat. You are the enemy.

Re: reloading for sw9ve
the glock "kaboom", the one that made hamburger of that guy's hand, is missing a shitload of details to be able to determine the cause.

Re: reloading for sw9ve
Let's not get overly dramatic. Reloading is only dangerous if you want it to be. The Glock Kaboom thread is a total phony baloney click bait story for one. Reloading ammo is a real man's hobby and while there might be a few goofballs pushing the limits and posting wild recipes on the internet, just about everyone out there is not going to deliberately steer a new reloader the wrong way.
I've been reloading for 4 years have loaded tens of thousands of rounds and can't think of any reliability or safety issues with my own ammo. I CAN think of many with factory ammo however. Reloading is simple math and checking your work. If you pay attention and check your math and your work, you shouldn't have a problem.
Before I started I spent months watching vids on Youtube to get an idea of how things looked and also got a bunch of reloading manuals and read their information sections and of course did a lot of forum reading.

Re: reloading for sw9ve
Congratulations on being a "real man" and reloading for 4 years. I brought up the glock thread to hopefully emphasize the potential hazards of reloading and to emphasize the fact that you can cause some serious damage to yourself and possibly the people next you at the range.
Your last sentence is exactly what i told the op.
I have only been reloading since 1974. I am still learning. I have learned a few lessons along the way. One of those lessons is do not trust strangers about load data. Plenty of newbs like yourself out there that think they know everything.

I assume you are alluding to an earlier discussion. I forget which ancient philosopher referred to satire as the purist form of humor. Kudos.
Yep. Threw that in here for fun. Not for real. Good catch! :-)
