Targetmaster: I Went
Well I finally stopped at Targetmaster. And now I really have mixed feelings about them. The day I walked in the nonsense started not 15 seconds after I walked through the door. I stopped to read some of the stuff that they have there in the front as you walk in. And who walks in right behind me? 3 questionable young men. The time that I was in there most people are in the middle of their work day. But that isn't what caught my attention. What got me was the rifle that they walked in with slug over the shoulder like paws ole shotgun and the language that they were using. Right behind them were 3 more that walked in with a pistol. They weren't together from what I could assess. I kept it moving and looked at a few other things and went to the gun cases. This is where it got a little interesting. Both were trying to sell the firearms. They both got lowballed, like really lowballed and they just seemed to be ok and walked away. Guy behind the counter probably felt the way that I feel about it. SKETCHY. So I kinda get it now. They roll in from Chester, West Chester, etc with the nonsense. So I definitely will not go back. Cause if they are that shaky about things, I'm sure that they will have a problem with 6-8 guys with their own weapons coming to used the range and spend some time shooting together. I get they have things looming. But hell, we are educated, some former military, some former law enforcement. And if they get spooked by that. Then god only knows what they will think of us if we walked in there. So no we won't be going to get scrutinized, sized up and eye fucked. We will find a place that will treat us like a normal everyday Joe, cause that's what we are.

I can't figure out what you are trying to say about Targetmaster, maybe its just my uneducated ass but If this story where a book it would be a worst seller. You need to follow a logical progression with your story, flesh out what you are trying to say and support it with facts.

Re: Targetmaster: I Went
They made lowball offers to some sketchy dudes in an effort to just make them leave, and you see this as somehow bad and in some strange twist, came to the conclusion that you are going to be treated like a thug too?
If I'm even remotely close, you are one strange dude.
Actually, even if I'm not even close in my interpretation, I'm going with "strange dude" anyway.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

interpretation
Seriously OP, i don't mean to dogpile but the second half is very confusing. from your post i don't see how you actually gave them a chance. giving them a chance would mean you actually went with your group with no preconceived notions and see how it goes. it sounds like you went in there looking for a problem that would prove your point.
