Great thread. Dont see whats so confusing. He operated the door . He read some signs. He operationally evaluated new customers and thought his crew was skeevier and was afraid they'd get skull fucked if they went there.

I stopped to read some of the stuff that they have there in the front as you walk in. And who walks in right behind me? 3 questionable young men. The time that I was in there most people are in the middle of their work day. But that isn't what caught my attention. What got me was the rifle that they walked in with slug over the shoulder like paws ole shotgun and the language that they were using. Right behind them were 3 more that walked in with a pistol. They weren't together from what I could assess. I kept it moving and looked at a few other things and went to the gun cases. This is where it got a little interesting. Both were trying to sell the firearms. They both got lowballed, like really lowballed and they just seemed to be ok and walked away. Guy behind the counter probably felt the way that I feel about it. SKETCHY. So I kinda get it now. They roll in from Chester, West Chester, etc with the nonsense. So I definitely will not go back. Cause if they are that shaky about things, I'm sure that they will have a problem with 6-8 guys with their own weapons coming to used the range and spend some time shooting together. I get they have things looming. But hell, we are educated, some former military, some former law enforcement. And if they get spooked by that. Then god only knows what they will think of us if we walked in there. So no we won't be going to get scrutinized, sized up and eye fucked. We will find a place that will treat us like a normal everyday Joe, cause that's what we are.
So will you be going back about your bitching they will not take a state ID (or EBT) card as an ID? Gun dealers around big cities have a problem.....Most customers are law abiding gunowners but when you can take a bus from the ghetto the problems starts. Need to weed them out LEGALLY.

Don't tell the ACLU but Targetmaster only taking a drivers license is good!

It was a dark and stormy night?

Entering the business, he paused, like an extra comma in a sentence, to read the posted ads for handcarved C-rings and offers to clean basement dungeons.

During the pause, which wasn't a long pause like waiting in the drive through at Macdonalds when the fat old man in line in front orders french fries without salt and refuses to pull ahead, but more like the pause you get between the wife dropping the buttered bread, then saying "darn it!", three guys with some .....

    Aw fuggit, too hard.
