Default Montco Sheriff's Gun Safety Course

Last night I attended/completed the Montgomery County Sheriff's Handgun Safety Course. It's held once a month at the Montco Safety Training Center on Conshohocken Rd, Conshohocken, PA, and run by Sheriff Harry Burke, NRA Instructor. 3-4 hours long. No live fire. Very well presented, informative and understandable.

Thanks for the heads up. I missed the April class so hoping to see the May class scheduled soon.

So you are upset with a sheriff in a different county and blast him in a thread that’s 2.5 years old...
    Makes perfect sense.

Anyone been to one of these classes? Seems to me they are all about making using a gun out of the question when a sudden, unexpected, surprise need to defend arises.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

I'm upset because Bucks County residents are not allowed to attend. I actually probably pay to go to one of those.

No, but I think it would be awfully neighborly if they would be willing to let residents from another County attend if they were to pay a fee to Montgomery County. A lot of counties won't set anything up. People can learn something, it's a good thing. Plus, it's also a way for the county to drum up a tiny bit of Revenue, to help cover some of the overhead for running it the cost of the course.
