I was thinking the same thing. Nobody walks around with their handguns at low ready. Rifles are no different - they should be slung. They look more like wanna-be G.I. Joes than protesters.

I would wager maybe one or two have some type of military training considering I have met some of these types in uniform, they usually don't last long. The others are self taught, video watching X-Boxers that can't make the leap from game play to real life and spend their waking hours pumping each other up with rhetoric. Don't get me wrong the other side of the coin has their fair share of mall cop commandos. In reality I think that these wannabees would suffer between 70%-80% first contact losses with their counterparts. The real losers would be folks blocks away or living in 2nd and 3rd fl apartments hit by inaccurate fire. While I am a very big supporter of teh2A Running what amounts to a patrol down a city street with folks whose qualifications are sketchy at best and with a confrontational attitude at worst is a lose lose situation. But this is all just my worthless opinion.

Personally I think the majority of people like this would throw their weapons down and run for the hills the second the 1st shot was fired or a back fire from a muffler.

Yinz were exactly right! It turns out that many (most?) of their guns are airsoft. Bolt-action milsurp? Probably real. AR's, AK's and SCARs? LOL. Poseurs. They've been outed. No wonder they didn't want anyone taking video.
