Well, if he had a 15-round magazine and one in the chamber, I think we just figured out where cartridge 17 came from...

Most don't own guns. He said only a couple of his friends did. The oddest part is that they and he were security guards. He even showed me his 235 certification and LTCF when I called bs.
    Some people just plain suck.

Seriously??? How about came ready to defend them in the event of another school shooting?? This guy sounds like a dick.
I said the same thing myself. 1000 or more rounds might be a cause for concern.

1000 rounds is concerning? I'm sitting on my living room sofa and I've got more than that just in arm's reach...

I would say carrying 1000 rounds of ammo with you at work could in most cases be considered concerning. Having 10,000 rounds at home not so much.

Yeah but you're not carrying them around.

1,000 rounds at home is nothing...I bet most of us are far over that number. I don't take 1K to work though.

I don't even take that many to the range, that would get expensive fast.

    Alright, food for thought:

Many of us believe that freedom means freedom. If I am not harming you by what I do, then leave me alone. If I choose to carry 1000 rounds (that's over 35 pounds plus mags for me, BTW) for my own reasons, what business is it of anyone else?

Essentially, at what point do we lovers of freedom and liberty choose to infringe upon someone else's liberty? At what point do we step out onto that slippery slope? Personally, I like to avoid that edge in hopes that others will give me the same consideration.

    My 2¢
