Re: why is more expensive better.
you guys are too much, laughing my ass off here. that is what I needed. well I will be happy friday, I get to shoot with some police friends of mine. we always have a lot of fun, and with 15 of us there is never a dull moment. I can't see how some of them are police officers, if they really new them they would think twice about letting them in public with a gun.
no really they are a bunch of great guys.

Re: why is more expensive better.
I shoot my cheap 400-500.00 Glocks just about every range trip, they can, do and will out perform any gun that cost more. I know this because I've had guns that cost 4x as much and did not perform as well in some of the categories.

Stop buying cheap shit and people won't make fun of you.
Any vote for a third party is a vote for a Democrat. You are the enemy.

Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

Re: why is more expensive better.
I do not have enough hair to die blue, and I guess cheap shit will have to do, I will just have to make it out perform everything else

Illegitimi non carborundum
FWIW, any S&W is respectable firearm. Doesn't matter what one shoots, they all make noise, smoke and smiles.

On a more serious note . . . telling them to fuck off is exactly the response those guys would want. It shows you agree with them, they made you feel bad, and you recognize the inferiority of your firearm and yourself as well. If they didn't want that, there'd be no purpose to their comments.
The right . . . or at least better . . . response is to laugh out loud, and go back to shooting. JMO.

Cheap doesn't work with certain items that wear out, taste lousy, etc. You really do get what you pay for with some things... the following come to mind:
- house paint
- tires
- steak
- power tools
- etc

Shave head. Install phony spider web and skull tattoos on neck and throat. Phony dagger piercing forearm tat. Black out two teeth. Chain from belt to wallet. Studded boots. Have a used target by your stuff showing a group of twenty 10s.
Have someone call your cell. Snap click your heels together and speak a strong "Yes Sir!" into the phone every 4 seconds for a while, salute the phone and place it where you keep it.
(Have the operator of the range clued in to advise anyone inquiring about you, "I really would not fuck with that guy if I were you".

If you can hear what people are saying at the range you aren't shooting enough.
Let's not forget there are still species of tropical penguins living in the Galapagos.
