Default why is more expensive better.

I just came from my local gun store where I was using the indoor pistol range, and was having a good time. I had some other fellows come in and just killed my day. I am shooting my S&W SW9VE and I do like this gun, and am accurate with it.

well these fellows came in and started poking fun of my gun, about how cheap it is, and a thousand reasons why it is crap. yes they have the means to buy these big high priced weapons, I don't.

why is it that people have to hate everything and just can't support people that have what they can afford. I would not ever knock on anyone using a HI-POINT or any other cheap gun. if that is all they can afford I want to see them use it and know they can fire it, and be accurate with it.

I may just be venting here, but what gives them the right do down my stuff when I am doing what I can with what I can afford?

I have seen people at a shooting event (clay shoot) where everyone had big expensive guns and were all beat by a guy with an old sears shotgun.

Why are you concered about what they say ??? If they died tomorrow, would you care ??? You have a firearm you can afford and you shoot it well. Thats all that counts.
    Don’t like me ???? Tough, I don’t give a flying f@@k about ya.

That first happened to me in pre-school. It continues. I stopped caring.

Be happy with your own choices.

Nothing to be concerned about. EFF them. I could piss lots of money away on top end stuff but chose not to. Too many other things in life to spend on. Most of my life, however, I couldn't even think about top shelf stuff. I was lucky to have any guns and only had a couple of them.

If guys I don't know try to feel like big-shots by verbally gang banging me (strength in numbers) I'll just look them in the eye and flip the bird. Not good advise to give anyone but I might be a skinny old guy but refuse to take shit from anyone. If it escalates from there, so be it. Again, I don't advise it for others.

    Enjoy shooting your gear.

At least it's not a hipoint.

Show me any activity that doesn't have their snobs? Some people need to feel superior at everything they do. It's how they compensate for everything from their needle dicks to their income level or lack of love from their wives. I would likely tell them to fuck off and walk away confident that I just pissed them off enough to ruin their day while forgetting about them half a second later.

Lots of people are assholes so stop caring what anyone else thinks and carry on practicing. If you get good enough and feel the need to address their douchebaggery some day, you can do it by out shooting them with your "inferior" gun.
