I'm agreeing with everyone else. It's a put together parts gun and you can buy a new AR for 500 or less. Be lucky to get 400 for it, offer 325. He'll probably be insulted

The only AR that may somewhat hold its value in todays market is a factory built gun, even then the prices have dropped.

save your money and build your own franken rifle. I love it when they say "custom" on a franken gun, and think its worth 3x. "custom" means they put what they wanted on the rifle, not necessarily what you would want. And yeah unless you shoot 3 gun with gloves, or have the ladder pads on them, quad rails are a pain. I was never a fan.

What if they are custom quad rails, that have been sanded smooth?

Post Reported: You're clearly trying to cheat him out of a 'custom' gun for far less than it's worth! </SARC>

Honestly, at this point, I'd probably not even buy a 'franken' gun unless I knew/particularly respected the builder. With the price of factory-built guns what it is, why would I?

As I mentioned before, I bought an Anderson-based home-brew gun for $600. Yeah, it also had a nice Bushnell red-dot and a couple good mags. But if I looked at it at all today, I'd be in the $250-300-and-you-can-keep-the-optic zone...

I still slightly prefer FTF private party sales, just because given the choice to be in the PSP "not a registration" database or not, I'd pick not... But that's not a big value factor, just a preference.
