Re: Lebanon Valley Gun Show - Apr 1st & 2nd, 2017
I’ve done well the past few years. Picked up a nice Sig p226 last spring for $325 from a private seller. It showed very little use, just needed some typical trigger smoothing and shoots perfectly. Also grabbed a few .22’s over the years. I don’t recall exactly but don’t think I paid more than $125 for anything. And I generally get some some reloading supplies to keep the collection fed. We enjoy the search to find something on our wish list and enjoy the day out. Oh, I did also find a nice Ruger 10/22 a few years back with a composite folding stock for $120/125 as I recall. Then there was the like new Sako 243 varmiter (bull barrel) with an exquisite bluing and stock I bought several years ago from a private seller. I was there at the right time.
We have our wish list ready for next Saturday.
Also picked up a new belt, targets and a new chronograph for less than retail price. So no laments from me. Well yes there is one, I missed the ‘pickle guy’ the last show, I like the garlic sour dills. Gunpowder and pickles go well together.
My wife and I have been going there for quite a few years. It’s a well laid out venue, seldom crowded, parking is easy and a nice area to wander around and enjoy the event. As with any show of this type, cash works best.
I was just thinking yesterday how much different it COULD have been had the election had different result. So I’m going to be there next week and enjoy my always cherished freedom.NRA endowment

Damn, that show is next weekend? Had I known that I probably wouldn't have bought the turk 9mm.

Got there about 10 minutes before they opened, parking lot wasn't very full but there was a line out of the door to get in. Pretty lame show, couple places had OK prices for ammo, but you could get it for less online. Gun deals were pretty sparse. Overall I'd suggest skipping this one.

There was a lot of mumbling in the crowd and at Shyda's about how lame the show was. Compared to the last Lebanon show, this show was much better.....I wasn't disappointed.
