Re: Hey Poachers - Leve me better Stuff
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

Re: Hey Poachers - Leve me better Stuff
From prior problems in the exact same place, a Walmart receipt in the blind's carrying bag and an arrow that I found, I'm pretty sure I know who the poacher is. I'm going to keep his stuff, and have sent a message to him through a van driver he's used. We've run him off before, so now there is no excuse at all and it will be escalated to the law.
Boy, I say boy, you're reaching the limits of my medication!

Re: Hey Poachers - Leve me better Stuff
When it comes to security, it is hard to beat a goose or two. They announce when you enter their protected area and if you keep coming they will chase you away. They can be quite intimidating. When I lived in SoLanCo, my neighbor down the road had a pair that wandered their farmette and they were very effective.
