Re: European Parliament Passes Stringent New Gun Controls
Cliff notes!
When one of the little shit Euro countries becomes the next ISIS state or a few small towns get overthrown I'm going to laugh like hell, and not care one bit.

Re: European Parliament Passes Stringent New Gun Controls
It is easier to control faux criminals than it is law abiding subjects. But, let's be clear, these people are voluntary subjects, not citizens, with rights bestowed upon them by their ruling government. Government can take away any rights they grant, at any time, all in the name of the "public good". It is also done here regularly, and un Constitutionally.

Re: European Parliament Passes Stringent New Gun Controls
A good example as to what happens when unelected bureaucrats take sovereignty away from Countries.
Lower your expectations to zero and you'll never be disappointed.

Re: European Parliament Passes Stringent New Gun Controls
This is what kills me the most. The world watched America fight for and win its Independence and looked at us as a shining beacon of hope and liberty, a new way of doing business to emulate.
A short 200 years later and they're yielding their sovereignty without a shot being fired.
Has history not taught them anything? I'm not even making this about the guns, it's the wholesale hand over of power and rights to unelected power mongers.
Blindly they march down the path to serfdom.Life has a melody. Not great, not terrible.

Re: European Parliament Passes Stringent New Gun Controls
The Europeans I work with don't see restrictions of firearms as giving up any right. Now my population size is small <20 and dominated by Dutch, a few Swiss and some Belgians but none of them are gun owners so they simply don't care about restrictions on something they didn't care about to begin with.
They also don't envision any scenario where their own government takes over total control the populace. That's so ancient history to them and everyone is far more elightened now. Heck, many...maybe most thought the English were complete fools to leave the EU.
