    Default Sign National Reciprocity Petition

We want to deliver PA on this issue

    The bill (here) says:
    • Any state that allows concealed carry must recognize all others that also allow it, without limitation
    • States that do not allow concealed carry are not forced to

PA has 18 congressional districts and 2 senators

Our goal is to get 20 “Yea” votes

Will we get Casey and the other far left democrats? Probably not. But we need to make it painful for them to vote 'no'.

We think we can get 5000 petitions signed

Since the system faxes the congressman and 2 senators for each signer, that's 15000 faxes

If any one lawmaker refuses to vote yes, we put out the call to the 5000 signers to converge on his office. If 15% show up, we have a major news event.

    Sign today.

*please don't use this thread to push what you want rather than what is in the bill. Legitimate questions are welcomed. Trashing the bill to satisfy your own ego is counterproductive. If for some odd reason you don't like it, please move on. If you do like it, please get a friend to sign too. If you have a club or organization where you can distribute flyers like what is shown above, please PM me and I'll get you the quantity needed.

    Thank you. :-)

I don't like the looks of that website. I'm reluctant to give out personal information to what may be a data mining endeavor.
My U.S. Rep and Senators have already heard from me through their supplied contact information.

The site doesn't like you if you don't have a cell phone.

FYI the site is my site, petitionPA.com. I use it for my many grassroots organizations that I support. The database is encrypted and stored on a large hosting service in Canada. I do not give contact info to anyone, with one exception. Gun Owners of America (GOA) may also do a PA petion. We may give emails only to Larry Pratt, whereby he could then ask signers to sign his letter as well. That is not definite, only a possibility that I wanted to disclose.

If you do it on your own, please be sure you are very clear that you want them to support HR38 with cosponsorship, yes vote, no amendments. Also, be sure to include your official postal address. If you're missing some of critical information, your request will likely not count.

Cell phone is mainly to be sure the submitter is not a spam bot. The system send faxes. A spam formBot can submit thousands of forms in seconds, each of which would go to lawmakers. That would force us to pull the plug on the entire petition if it were infiltrated with spam info. That would be a huge waste of time and money.

So yes, sorry. We need a cell phone number.

The other reason is that if at some point we need to march on a congressional office, we can send a quick text "National Reciprocity rally (date, location). Will you come? Reply 'yes'". We then have a rough idea as to how many people will show and whether that will be enough to get media coverage.
