low price, bad negotiation, shoulda asked trump to help.
supposedly that type of thing is common. i recall a story where a woman designed a bra, patented and all iirc. then produced the concept to victorias secret who shot the idea down only to produce an extremely similar item shortly after.
i believe the concept is that the small creator will be unlikely to introduce it to court due to costs, there would be much heel dragging and arguing over minor differences.
so they get away with the product and the money...
personally, a company did that to me, i'd burn their HQ to the ground...jussayin.

The attachement are pdfs, and as far as i know, pdf file is safe, only exe file is dangerous. You can scan it with virustotal if you want.
For the record, PDFs are not inherently safe. Type 0 DOM-based Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks are still possible. Also, virus total only scans using signature-based anti-virus, which is trivial to defeat, so... not saying the OP's post was malicious in any way, but I wouldn't recommend trusting his web security advice at face value.

a while back they made pretty public some exploits that can be run via image and video files.
