Re: Milsurp Berettas
All of the M9s will probably be shredded and melted down at Anniston Army Depot or passed on to another friendly military.
Most of them are pretty well worn out as is.

Re: Milsurp Berettas
Agreed, our M9 inventory is by all description rather worn out. However there is something about owning a piece of military history.
I have a really clapped out Inglis HiPower made in 1945 and last refurbed by the Canadians in the early 60s. Worn as it is, it is still a favorite of mine.

Re: Milsurp Berettas
I posted a similar thread a month or two ago. The general consensus, from those who were issued them, was that they will be crappy at best and crappier at worst. I would still buy one if they were inexpensive.
My opinion is that all the good ones will be cherry picked by the dealers lucky enough to get some. As far as I understand they can not be offered by the CMP because the legislation creating the CMP only speaks of .22 and .30 cal rifles. I may be wrong because I just glossed over the page. Some people just plain suck.
If you're gonna be dumb ya gotta be tough.
