Gunsmith suggestions?

Perhaps I posted in wrong area ...

I am looking for an experienced gunsmith to remove some owner applied orange and white to the front sights of handguns.

Want someone who has experience removing this paint (whatever) without messing up the factory finish.

NOT looking for someone who wants to "experiment" or "learn" how to do this, but rather a smith who has successfully done this type of work.

I am in Luzerne County, but am more than willing to travel to the right shop.

I apply bright orange (over white base coat) paint to the front sights of my carry guns. On one of my guns, the paint was starting to chip off, so I recently had to redo it. I don't know what sort of paint is on your gun, but I can tell you that the stuff I use is much less durable than the factory finish. Unless your gun is a delicate antique, just rub it with some alcohol and see what happens.

I was hoping to find someone experienced with this type of work as guns are more valuable than I care to experiment on.

But, I DO appreciate the suggestion and will keep it in mind.
