Can anyone recommend anyone who can do a great job stippling my new Gen 4 in the Pittsburgh Area? Thanks.

Go buy a 5 dollar soldering iron off amazon and do it yourself! It's not hard. Practice on a piece of scrap plastic first though.

Here we go,You want to stipple your gun,fine,but if the day comes and you want to re sell it the majority of buyers will shun the firearm.I found that Hougue slip on grips have worked on occasion depending on the grip of the particular firearm. MDT

Why do people do this stupid stuff to their guns? Buy some Talon grips. They're a reversible mod if one ever whats to sell the gun or one doesn't like the texture. Stippling looks like shit, will chew the snot out of your clothes AND skin, is not reversible.
People reading and watching too much of this tacticool stuff.

I had this gen 3 model 21 done at Coldbore Solutions in Texas. I know you're looking for someone local but it may be worthwhile to send it out. A bad stippling job can't be undone. That said, I've never had a stock Glock fall out of my hands. I had work done primarily to reduce the size of the grip which simply didn't fit my hand. Take the advice of the members that recommend trying sleeves or stick on grips first. They are inexpensive and can easily be removed.

I haven't sold any of my weapons to date but I will check out Hogue.

The worst thing about Glocks are the finger grooves. Hi-Point has a less obnoxious finger groove but maybe it's the whole hard plastic square brick feel the hides the finger groove feeling bad. People use grip sleeves but they make the grip fatter and that is a problem because a whole lot of folks mod the back to make it smaller. My advise is stipple if you have to mod the back strap. Live with it if you don't need to shrink the circumference. The tape stuff is probibly better than the sleeve adding less width over all.
