Default Vortex Sparc owners option needed!!

Hey all. I just bought a Vortex Sparc red dot and love the concept and function. My question is as soon as I got the optic and turned it on in low light, it seems like the border of the round optics glass is glowing. It's very distracting while acquiring the target. Is this just an issue with this one particular optic, or do others see it with their red dot. Here is a pic of what I'm seeing...

Turn down the intensity of the dot. Does it go away. Have you tried it mounted on a rifle?

Yea it was on a rifle. All red dots I've used before including a cheap Tasco pro have all not had light radiation like this even all the way up. It still does glow at the edges slightly down in a lower setting.

Now that I notice, I do see an obstruction in the field of view and it may be the adhesive failure. I am going to contact the place I bought it or possibly vortex themselves.

i have one and it is good at all intensities. I agree that yours looks like it's adhesive and is defective.
