I got the Bluetooth device a few months ago and used it a couple times during the summer. It was great to be able to see the readout clearly on my iPad, and to download the data to my reloading files instead of typing it in. Definitely worth getting.

Is people shooting the chronograph actually a problem? I'd think that if you're using a chronograph, you're taking very slow and controlled shots, even if you're using a pistol. I wouldn't think you're going full tacticool operator and shooting through a chronograph.

People shoot cronys all the time. The new induction and radar ones look neet. I want pressure inducers for chamber pressure.

Two kinds of people that have crony's. Those who have shot it and those that will. Took me about 20 years until I shot a screen post.

I don't plan on dying anytime soon but I still have life insurance. Stuff happens and I had some material and felt like doing a quick project. Now I won't hesitate if someone wants to borrow it or shoot through it while I have it setup. (Not that that has happened yet).

Guilty. I was taking my time, but decided to free hand a shot with my Glock 27 instead of using a bench. Sure as shit I sent a 40 through the center of the chrony display

After thousands of pistol rounds (G19, S&W 686, PPQ M2), I haven't hit the chrony. You only have to clear a 10-12 inch gap at 10 feet or so. It would mean I'd have to lose concentration or spazz out. It could happen in time, I guess, but I've yet to throw a shot that bad, with or without a chrony.

With a rifle, you need to be sure you've accounted for the lower plane of the barrel vs the scope. There seems to be plenty of clearance looking through the scope, but the barrel is looking at your chrony. I've heard of that problem, but have managed to avoid it by thinking before shooting.

I promise to report back if I shoot my chrony.

Not the chrony, but I once forgot to account for that with the air rifle while shooting at backyard critters through the bedroom window...... Mrs. Daschnoz was not happy.
