Elementary my dear Watson, or so I thought..... the art of deduction is apparently not always so apparent.

I hate the gun because it is a cheaply made piece of trash that functions enough to not get a class action law suit and thus able to still be offered for sale to those who are less then informed and or discriminating. They say one man's trash is another mans treasure, and I concur, however you purchased it because its for you, not me, nor the masses; that being said its obvious you can afford better as this is something you said you can simply trash and purchase another. We now know its not a disposable income limitation.

The other reasons I hate it is because its a heavy brick, awkward, and for same price range you can easily buy a lot better used firearm with a higher reliability record, as well as more concealable, lighter, and better handling....did I mention accuracy? Maybe whipping it out slippery wet in your 4'x6' shower this makes no difference, but I highly doubly you spent the money to get that bad boy stippled for extra grip, or even some grip tape.....but when you can afford better, wisdom says go with the best you can buy. If not, you may wish to re-evaluate your use of finances. Why pay twice or more? Yep, I just gave you both barrels. It's not my desire to be condescending, but for the reasons listed, its a pretty cut and dry choice to me....unlike the shower gun.

With respect, the deduction from this conglomeration above of what more do I want is reduced to the following:
Reliable, lighter, better handling, more accurate gun for the money. That task is so simple if you shop around and/or negotiate

Try a used S&W Sigma, or some of their other older but nice semi's, or even a Ruger pistol or used Glock.

Even if you picked it up for $75- to $100- its still junk. You really would trust your life to that gun as a wet duty piece? If you NEED a firearm in the shower, you've got a lot more to be concerned about anyhow. I'd personally advice you to mount a quick detach fixed blade if you have a legit threat in that close a space. Cause if you do, you either need to relocate and stop whatever behavior/associations that provoked the said threat, or get a higher income to afford better security.
