Taurus owned and sold a few my impression and experience is never had any issues and comfortably better than my Glock 26 which rareley sees any ccw.My G 19 & G 43 are ideal ! for me ! The Taurus price is un beatable but Taurus warranty service leaves a lot to be desired another words they suck.

My brother and I both have one. Never had a trouble with it NOT going bang.
Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Bought the G2 used and it has been very reliable. I especially like the fact that it's 12+1. I have had no mechanical issues with it in about 1,000 rounds. Prior round count unknown. I only have two complaints: long mushy trigger pull which makes longer shots for myself difficult and the price of additional magazines. However since it comes with two it's not the worst thing. My friend liked mine so much he ended up buying his own after one range session. So I will concur that they are a great value. I presently use an AlienGear IWB v3 for the Springfield XD mod 2 9mm. Both guns are interchangeable in the holster. Regarding Taurus warranty fulfillment I must report a positive experience. It was from 8 years ago so thing s certainly may have changed. But in needing repairs to a revolver involving cylinder lockup they had it repaired and back to me within two weeks.

For those who own previous generations of the Mil Pro line, the lawsuit against Taurus is in its closing decisions of a few appeals. Under the court ruling, an owner of such Taurus models can send their weapons back to Taurus for a new equivalent in the G2 line. Ref....Tauruscartersettlement.com. This settlement has cost Taurus about $30 million. I have a few that will be sent back when the law firm signals the OK.

Took mine to the range yesterday for the first time. Ran standard 115gr fmj and 115gr jhp. Not a single issue, and found the gun rather comfortable to shoot. Rather pleased with it.

We haven't been able to get to the range yet. Our scheduled day was put off because of the snow storm. I hope to get there next week. He plans of putting about 100 brass fmj rounds through it and I asked if we could put 50 stell through it. He is fine with that to test the durability of it. I also plan to try and create a malfunction if I can. I will give a report after the trip.
