PTAC is PSA economy brand. I sent them a question on this and here is the answer:

    Good morning,

The classic lower build kits will contain all of the standard mil-spec parts needed to complete a stripped lower receiver. The freedom and PTAC kits come with slightly more streamlined and economical parts so you'll save a bit of money by purchasing our freedom series in lieu of the classic or defender kits. The defender kits will come with a few slightly upgraded parts such as the ambidextrous safety and double loop latch plate. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us.

    Thank you,

    Dylan D.

I was there Friday. Never saw a burka. (What a perfect way to shoplift a gun or guns). Never saw Aubrey (again)

Paid to shop. Bought birdshot .22LR, was $3 higher at other tables. Had #41 primers at the register...$43.99. I just knew too high and left them there. Bought them from Northeast for $33.99. Ten bucks difference! Also bought some TSM from NE. Bought Trail Boss at a low price from another vendor. Tried to find the orange plastic 9mm and .223 practice cartridges but couldn't find any.

Bought two AR ejectors and springs from Tony. Cut one coil off of the ejector spring in one of my ARs. Will see what effect it has next time I shoot it.

All in all I got what I wanted from the show.

As tempting as that would be to bump into one of them, no need to bring things down to their level. They dont deserve the acknowledgment or the attention. As long as they dont touch me, I leave them be.
    Don’t like me ???? Tough, I don’t give a flying f@@k about ya.

I don't know that I could be that restrained...Found myself in a different situation with similar vile and the end results were not some of my proudest moments. Age has not tempered my contempt for meatheads...or should I say meatball heads.

Saw gang bangers with the tats on friday and 5-0h cruising with the tag readers, I'm sure they are watching everything.

AR's are available, new, decent brands for $399 if you keep your eyes open. And yes, I mean real .223/5.56 AR's.

My LGS recently had Windhams for $399. I guarantee that's 100% true and accurate - I bought 2.

I've seen some other 'respectable' brands at that level. Not easy to find, don't last long, and not common. But they're out there.

I think we're gonna see $299 'respectable' AR's in the next six months, myself. Not home-built, used stuff; but factory-made new. I think that's the 'bottom' of the market and they won't go lower. But you'll be able to find 'em if you look.

My guess is entry-level AR's will stabilize around $600 by end of the year. But over the summer, it'll be deal-time.

But on a better side I found a Enfield No4 Mk1 ROF Maltby in amazing shape ...could not pass this one up . Surprised at the lack of affordable WW2 surplus ( except Garands) . There was a dealer with some amazing WW2 firearms at eye popping prices.

I went on Friday with a mission and it was mission accomplished. I was looking for a used or LE trading Glock 26 or 27. Found Gideon Tactical with 5 police department trade-in Model 27s to choose from... Looked them over and found one that looked clean. Glock 27, Trijicon night sights, box with all the stuff and 2 mags for $330 out the door.

Got it home, took it apart to clean and inspect, and I honestly believe it was never even fired - and definitely never carried. Not a mark on it and no powder residue or dirt anywhere. Sights still had a fair glow to them.

Did a serial # look-up and found it was born in 2007. Then I found the unopened test cases and instruction envelope that confirmed the date.

Brand new (as far as I am concerned) Glock 27 Gen 3 for $330.00. It was a good day....
