Default ATF "White Paper" on firearms regulations (not what you may think)

    Greetings,

The 2nd in command at ATF (Ronald Turk, Associate Deputy Director; Chief Operating Officer) issued this paper on Jan 20th. Interesting thoughts coming from that particular agency, though not an "official" policy statement.

Quoted from the summery: " This white paper is intended to provide ideas and provoke conversation; it is not guidance or policy of any kind."

    FYI:

Cliffs notes to get you to read it: It suggests getting silencers out of the NFA, ending import bans, AP ammo, and other reforms.

A bit of a switch from previous Administrations, including Bush.

    The future better come soon.

Congress starts campaigning around Christmas of this year and the left is on the march. Any spine they have will dissolve at that time.

We MIGHT get a second shot in 2019, however. The numbers are on our side, but nothing is carved in stone with the way the left has gone ballistic.

I'll be damned. Hell froze over.

They suggest sound suppressors be removed from NFA and that import bans on some firearms be lifted.

Lower your expectations to zero and you'll never be disappointed.
