Re: I Need Help Re-assembling a S&W 22 Victory - NE PA
A big 10-4 on that!
I got done a little while ago. I've had a Glock fight me more. The little washer even dropped in fairly easy a little tweak with a small scribe and a light tap of the gunsmith hammer on the pin and it was together.
10 min later the whole thing was together. Beautiful pistol too.
I'm working on becoming an home shop. I just want to get my name out there right now and once I have my FFL I'd do gunsmith jobs like that all day.Owner Trigger Time LLc 01 FFL/NFA Saylorsburg, PA. Sales/Service/Transfers/Training

Success! Bob AKA Rosco the Iroc helped me today. I drove 1 1/2 hours to his house. He had it all back together in less than 10 min. without even looking at a schematic. Can't say enough nice things about Bob! PA gun owners Rock!

I just finished mine, it's a bitch. I had to file the top of the trigger where it meets the frame in order to allow it to come forward enough to reset. You can do this with the trigger in using a small flat jewelers file while holding the trigger back.

??????
I'm missing something.
I didn't see any spots were the trigger would come close to contacting the frame. Except the overtravel screws even those shouldn't effect reset.
I checked his of course for fit and function and be sure there was no binding not that I expected it there were no issues. I haven't heard anything from him so I don't know how it shot for real.
With out seeing it -I think you might not have the trigger transfer bar installed on the trigger right.Owner Trigger Time LLc 01 FFL/NFA Saylorsburg, PA. Sales/Service/Transfers/Training

I offered my comments on filing the part where the overtravel screw goes in order to reset the trigger as a service.
I do not think everyone needes to do this but it was recommended by Tandemkross to me in answer to my problem.
My gun now works and I could care less for your know it all opinions.
