Re: tec 9 problems
not to sound like a smart ass, but just sell it. you could probably get good money for it from someone who doesn't know any better.
i dunno who works on those, or where you can even find parts for it. i'd jump ship. good luck.

Notorious jam-a-matics. Trade it in for something decent, or put it up for sale on gunbroker.
I know a couple people that own them, and neither can really explain why they bought the damn things. Oh, and contrary to what sara brady, obiden, the clintons, and bloomberg might tell you, neither of these people have turned into murderous sociopaths after buying the funky black pistols.Removed NRA Life Member pic. Re: tec 9 problems
You must be a bad guy. I only see them ftf when the bad guy is about to finish off the good guy in the movies. I actually have a AA Arms AP-9. It claims to be and upgrade clone of the Tec-9. The gun is so embarrassing to take to the range.

Re: tec 9 problems
if everything is put together correctly and in good working order you could try trimming the recoil spring a coil at a time.does it feel rough when you cycle it by hand?
