    Default 9mm defense ammo

I've been carrying with Hornady Critical Defense, in both .380 and 9mm. Anything better out there? Someone mentioned that Critical Duty was a little snappy in a carry sized pistol. (G43 and LCP)

    Opinions?

Gold dots or Critical Duty will do you fine. As always put in some practice time with them.

For what it's work I carry Federal HST 124 gr. +P

There are some really good videos and reviews of various SD rounds at:

    Me too!

Bet you also have a fire extinguisher in your house as well right? The horse is indeed prepared for battle, but DELIVERANCE comes from the LORD! <><

    They are VERY good rounds.

I also would recommend Winchester 127 +P+ JHP, as well as the offerings from Lehigh Defense and Underwood Ammunition. SERIOUS ammo....depends on your philosophy of use, you can realize quite large wound cavities, or have major penetration capability with good expansion. They have rounds for both.

I have Federal HST Bonded in my Glock 19 , HST is all ill ever use in any pistol i have HS for my .45. You cant go wrong with any bullet from Winchester, Remington or Federal in Hollow points with exception of Hornady XTP.

    Gold Dot 124 +p or HST 124 +p

You can get 50 round boxes of HST at Authority Arms in Chalfont for a very good price.

    HST 147 (standard pressure)
