    Default Concealed carry option

Here's my question...we all conceal carry, and we all have pockets, Why is there even another option? In all seriousness, unless you're trying to conceal a full size pistol, why won't your pocket work for a single stack 9 or 380?
I've had pockets not deep enough, however if i bought a sturdy denim or faux suede fabric I've never paid more the $5 at a commercial cleaners to have the mama san make my pocket large enough to carry what I wanted.

Rarely a problem with jeans, although I've had all my dress pants altered.

Always make sure theres enough room for a pocket holster though. I prefer Stickys.

So why the IWB, AIWB and other options out there? To sell unnecessary shit?

Simply curious, thats all. And yes, it work with shorts as well, however thats where the small LCP comes in

I carry my knife and phone in one front pocket, and wallet/keys in the other front pocket. Putting stuff in my back pocket is not comfortable. So basically no room for my CC in my pockets.

Because I carry a double stack 9mm (G26, not full size) and its too thick for pocket carry, it prints like hell in a pocket. Also, because my draw from the appendix is way faster then my draw from the pocket. Also a pocket is harder to get to while sitting down (in the car).

My question was clearly geared to ss 9 or 380 carriers.
I'll carry my g19 on the winter, in coat pocket.

Pretty simple, if you rearrange your other shit
I have an edc knife, keys, wallet and cell phone and have no issue leaving the front right pocket available for my edc piece. Easy, and a faster draw if needed IMHO

I enjoy a nice clean draw from a properly secured holster but that's just me.

    I agree.

Also, at one point I was considering it (pocket carry) and then went out to eat with my wife and son and realized the pistol would be pointing directly at them. Stopped considering it then.

I can appreciate what you're saying, however I've never had less then a clean draw from.my Sticky holster.

There are as many ways for carrying as the are people who carry. My thought process is rather simple though...if my garment provides a built in holster, I'm going to use it.
I fully respect everyone elses opinion though. I'm closing in on 70 and have been pocket carrying since i got out of the Corps in 1968.
Only ever had to pull my gun once in all that time.
