    Default any experience with

    Hi viz replacement sights?
I'd rather have a gun in my hand then a cop on the phone.

I never used Hi viz but I do have Williams fire sights. Same type of sight I believe. I like them. Have them on a couple 22 pistols. The more light the brighter the sight.

I think I had one. Is it the type that snaps on the front of the barrel? If so I had one on a single shot 20 ga that had a damaged bead. It worked well for me.
    Some people just plain suck.

On what gun? I put them on a few different pistols and like them just fine. But some guns (like a smith and Wesson revolver) require you to drill the sight so you can pin it while other guns (like a Ruger mark 3) just require you to screw it in.

I have a Hi Viz green fiber optic front sight on my Ruger GP100 and I really like it. The green stands out way more to me than red or regular white dot sights. Like Zach said, not sure if you're referring to a particular model sight but in general, my experience with them has been very positive. Ease of installation depends on the gun, not necessarily the fault of Hi Viz. My GP100 front sight went on in under 1 minute.

I prefer red as I can pick them up faster against any background compared to other colors, but try different colors and see what works best for you.
