Hamburg 3gun Saturday April 1st

Hamburg Rifle Pistol Club is hosting its first 3gun match of the season on Saturday, April 1st. This is a fun shoot consisting of 5 stages – 3 bay, 1 longer range (~300yds), and a natural terrain stage.

Registration 8:00-9:00AM
MANDATORY safety briefing 9:15AM
Shooting starts after safety briefing!

The April 1st match is limited to about 60 shooters. There has been a lot of interest in the match so far, so please pre-register by email at hamburg3gun@gmail.com.

Payments will be received and squadding will be done on the day of the match. Walk-ons are welcome, if there are openings, but preference will be given to those who pre-register. We will post a note if the match fills up early.

Cost:
$20 per shooter

Guns needed:
Center fire semi auto pistol or revolver, no magnum cartridges
Center fire semi auto, magazine fed rifle, limited to .223
Pump or semi auto shotgun

Ammo:
About 100 rounds Pistol
About 100 rounds Rifle
About 75 rounds birdshot, no larger than #7 shot
About 15 slugs

No steel core ammo permitted.

Go west on I78 6 miles from Hamburg
Take exit 23 Shartlesville
At stop sign turn right North on Mountain Road follow .3ths mile, then .4th
mile left on Forge Dam Rd.
Entrance is on the right.

We've had a great response so far as the match is more than 2/3rds full! If you're thinking about coming to the April match, please let us know soon. We can't wait to get the season started.

UPDATE: We are good to go for this Saturday. There are contingency plans in case it's raining, but rain or shine, this is going to be a fun match! There are still a handful of spots open, so if you're interested in shooting the match, please let us know. The round count has remained the same as above, but it's always good to bring some extra. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. We're looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday!

Thanks to everyone at Hamburg Sportsman for putting on the shoot, Rick it was fun pushing the rifle shots out to 300 yards.

Special thanks to Cody and Kylie!!! Not only did these young folks shoot the match but they busted their ass helping set up and tear down long before anyone else was there and long after everyone left.
