Default Inexpensive but decent red dot scope for an AR10?

I am still undecided as to what optics or sights to put on my AR10. I may get a scope, but I am not ruling out other options. What would you recommend in the $200 range? Is there anything decent in that price range?

    Thanks, Isaac

C-more railway is about $230. And you will not be disappointed.

The Sig Sauer Romeo 5 was listed in the deals thread for $139 recently. It seems to be well rated.

The Vortex StrikeFire II is a good value at around $180.

For red dot, either a primary arms advanced micro red dot or a holuson. Hands down.

For a scope, you aren't really going to get any thing great for $200. Least expensive I would go would be either something from the Vortex HST line or one of the new primary arms scopes.

Reports are that the Sig Romeo line are made by Holuson, FWIW.

You are correct.... That is the rumor. It has yet to be confirmed or denied. I generally don't invest money into rumors. Maybe your thought train is different. Even if they are made by holosun, that doesn't automatically make them quality optics. Holosun makes the regular primary arms micro RDS, and I would not recommend that one. But to each their own.

Use a Burris FastFire on top of scope rings or mounted 45 degrees offset. For an AR10 you want a scope otherwise it defeats the point of being an AR10.

Why wouldn't you recommend the regular PA red dot?
I don't watch shark week. Sharks watch FLICK week.
