AR47 Build on GWACS Armory CAV-15 MKII Lower

Go build a 7.62x39 AR15 and tell the dems to FUCK OFF.

(and I still haven't painted this thing! LOL)

UPDATE!

I STILL haven't painted this rifle! LOL!!!

Plans changed. I bought a different lower for it a while back and finally have the LPK to install in it, so I can swap lowers.
THEN I'll paint it! I swear!

Same basic lower - updated. KE Arms KP-15 polymer lower.

Until then, here's a new pic of another change - I picked up a Monstrum Tactical Ghost red dot and 3x magnifier combo for $110 during Amazon Prime day.
If I find that I really, REALLY like a magnifier, I'll think about upgrading to a better unit in the future.

Aside from swapping lowers and painting it, the only thing I want to do is get a better weapon light and I can call this gun complete.

Trade it for a Giant Eagle gift card at a gun buy back.

OR, move it to another rifle that has that PSA lightweight, pencil barrel upper I got several years ago to make it an even lighter setup.

Not sure which.

By the way, Brownells is dropping all the KE Arms KP-15 stuff.
They still have the stripped lowers in stock (black only) for $69.99!

Brownells hits you with a $10 "FFL processing fee", so it's a wash, but even so, that price is anazing.
I want to get another one, but Mrs EM will kill me.

Changed my mind. Gonna keep this rifle as-is in regards to the upper/lower.

Just got a new Specter Gear Recon sling to try out. Bought a GG&G QD sling mount for the handguard and I also picked up a matching coyote brown butt stock mag pouch to replace the black one.

Getting ready to camo paint this one - finally. Pretty sure this is "final form", although I haven't had the magnifier optic combo long enough to be sure it will stay. I don't really have another gun I can put them on, so I may as well just paint them with the rifle.

All 7.62x39 mags will eventually be painted this brown color for quick visual identification as x39 mags and not 5.56 mags
