All the quality products out there by names like Ruger and Kahr and S&W and you're talking Taurus (and Keltec)? Save another hundred bucks and buy some quality.

The company is also under new management, so i have high hopes for this little pistol. My wife also would be in the target market.
Weren't Ford Pintos made in the USA?

Not only does the trigger suck, I would go as far as saying it's dangerous. Way too light for such a small carry gun. Has AD written all over it.

Anyone know when this pistol will be available to the retail market? It was originally due out in late April or early May. Definitely a buyer, I'll give it a good test at the range when I get it.

Might as well get the Ruger LCP.
Great pocket .380 that has proven itself for many years now.
Mine eats Gold Dot JHP's without a problem too.

In this day and age of cheap carry guns I see no reason to go with one of even slightly questionable quality. I'm no fan of the M&P line, but shields can be had for $300 new, that would be an infinitely better option

Gotta agree with this. I've known 2 people personally who bought the sccy and both had to send them back. To sccy's credit they fixed them, but I wouldn't bother with them considering the options out there right now.

As for the spectrum, I've never seen or handled one, but palmetto has the original lcp for $169 right now. That's a proven gun many times over for hi-point money.

I agree with the LCP as a much better option. The SCCY felt like a toy and the fit and finish were horrendous. I haven't seen the spectrum yet but I believe the price point is higher than the Ruger.
    Some people just plain suck.
