Default When can one consider a new build a success?

I recently assembled a 7.5 inch upper for my 556 SBR. I had it out to the range and put about 100 rounds of various ammo through it without a hiccup. Is it safe to say it's a success or what other testing should I do to determine that? I assume that if I had a gas issue I would of noticed on the second round. What do you guys do when you first have a new build out to the range? I did full mags, two rounds in a mag, one round in a mag and every other combination.

Shooting it upside down will reveal any gravity-related issues for sure.

Gas issues do not always end in jamming or failures so you need to confirm your ejection pattern.

When a smile comes across your face and you think to yourself, this is a successful build.
