Dad goes to FFL in DE and ships pistol to PA FFL, where you pick it up and do the paperwork.

Or you and Dad meet at FFL in PA where you do the paperwork and take possession. Or, you find a PA FFL that accepts shipments from individuals, and Dad ships direct to PA FFL, where you go do paperwork and take possession.

danhr, what was the intent and reason/purpose of your response? Was it nonsense or rep building? Please, most of us on PAFOA are looking for insightful/helpful information.

Considering that was the one and only post from the OP, and he hasn't even been back since posting it.... I am thinking he might not be one of those people.

Do you think that maybe the OP hasn't been back because he figured that's the kind of response he was going to get when he asked for help?

How about we stop trolling the newbie threads and actually answer their questions?

Good question OP. Similar situation for me albeit no relation to the seller. I have NJ legal firearms that I want to sell to a friend in NJ. Can i just take them straight to the NJ FFL for transfer? or do they have to be shipped via PA FFL to the NJ FFL? Thanks to whoever answers

Personally, I would find a PA FFL that will ship to a NJ FFL. Driving into PRNJ with firearms is a risk.
I have Read on here about people arrested in parkinglots of gun ranges or shops for having the weapon not in a case.
Then theres all that Firearm permit and approval crapola that happens on their end, worse if its a handgun, as they can only buy 1 pistol for each permit.
What a screwed up mess that state is.
