Thumbs up Combat Pistol 3-day Weekend - Rubicon Training Group 14th, 15th, 16th July

Rubicon Training Group has come up with a unique 3 day course that benefits new shooters looking to take their handguns past a simple range trip.

On the first day, students get introduced to the Israeli Method of presenting and shooting a handgun as well as using the handgun in a series of scenarios (one handed, weak handed, reloads, clearing malfunctions) including an introduction to room clearing.
The second day has the students step up to level 2 with the knowledge obtained from the previous day. This day focuses more on Multiple Target Acquisition, Strong and support hand shooting, Shoot-No Shoot Scenarios, Fast and Efficient Movement Techniques, Shooting While Moving, and lots of other drills. All the lessons learned on day 1 will come into play here.

The third day focuses entirely on the hand to hand aspect of violent encounters with a knife. You will be taught to Recognize Knife Motion & Patterns, Flow & Directions of Knife Attacks, Footwork to Protect Yourself, Counter-Offense to Neutralize the Threat and more. This is especially for those that carry a knife as part of their EDC loadout but have not been trained on how to use it.

This class will be held at the Heidelberg Sportman’s Association in Shaeferstown, PA. This class starts on the 14th of July and I highly recommend it for those that are new to concealed carry or for shooters looking at a different training methodology to keep their skills sharp. If you have any questions for Mark about this class, you can call him directly at 1-479-871-7580. Seats fill up rather quickly and it is first come first serve. In my opinion, for $400 this is a very affordable multi-day training that is available out there.

It is. There are some drills are are fun to do than others as there are a lot of ranges that wont let you shoot and scoot like that.
