    I think the steel would be fine but the buckshot would play hell on the frames. I'd rather not, sorry.

    Not a problem... was wondering how the steel would hold up to the 12ga 00 or slugs

    I think slugs might be too much especially at the range we're shooting. Back them off to 100 yards I'd be willing to experiment.

    ive shot slugs at steel at 25yd, and there are some big chunks of lead moving. we did bend 1 plate. this close range with this many people around.... ill have to try wax slugs one day.

    I would prefer not having a SG in the steel bay or at least toward my targets.
    I'm experimenting with hanging them on washing machine hose and rope.
    I believe a SG pattern will blow through that hanging style.
    The hose and rope are pretty resilient to pistol rounds and get partially cut if hit but mostly stay in place.
    Tomorrow will be the test.
    I have 1/4" cable but didn't have clamps to rig it.
    Opinions are like anal apertures. They all stink but mine.
