Almost couldn't find my group shoot #6 tee shirt.

Safety with steel.
My opinion is that if you shoot steel, you will get some frags back at you. I never shoot steel without wearing a baseball style cap with the bill.facing forward and naturally, safety glasses.
Bullets explode off steel target at about a 20 degree angle.
Frags can and will come down with a possibility of getting between your glasses and eyeball.
The cap prevents or minimizes this possibility.
My opinion and you know how much that matters. Ha.

Perfect day.

I stayed later than I had intended. I had some work I needed to do, but was enjoying the day, so I stayed until the end.
Got home and saw the forecast - didn't make sense to head out to do work with bad weather coming, so I stayed and mowed my own lawn - or at least part of it.
Storms are rolling in. We lucked out with that today for sure! Hot but dry.

Congrats to 27hand - he was the winner of the PAFOA prize package. (one more chance to win this year at the next group shoot!)

It was great seeing everyone and meeting a few new faces. Thanks to anyone who put a gun in my hand today - always fun to shoot new things!

The bacon was great! Thanks a bunch to everyone who chipped in and especially thanks to our awesome cook for keeping it flowing!

Also, thank you to everyone who chipped in with setting up and tearing down. It all goes SO quickly with many hands helping - much appreciated!

Speaking of "appreciated" - I think I can speak for everyone in saying that the steel was awesome, and the effort you put into transporting it, setting it up, and tearing it down was appreciated by all who used it.

Looking forward to the next shoot!
