Guys, thanks SO much for all you did to help get the ranges set up, and for cooking, and for bringing food, and for sharing your toys, and for tearing things down, and for not leaving me holding 100 custom printed chamber flags!!!

This was a really fun shoot. And no joke - I've never seen the bacon flow for that long. So many types of bacon too! WOW! I think you guys ruined "regular" bacon for me - that good stuff was some "GOOD stuff"!

It was nice to see some new faces and some that I hadn't seen in a while too. As usual, I learned that I REALLY NEED (insert whatever gun you may have put in my hand here). LOL! (cough-M14-cough)

Thanks to Ed for helping transition everything by being there today and tackling the gate issue. Thanks to Pennlineman and TooBigToFit for assisting as needed. That works well since I never know when I may need to do some work on a Saturday. The ability to have someone "close up" today so I could cut out a few minutes early was a big help.

The steel bay seemed to be a big hit. (no surprise) Thanks guys for bringing it all, setting it up, and monitoring it.
I may bring some handguns next time because the Camp 9 carbine was sort of like cheating.

Once again, thanks to those who bought additional PAFOA chamber flags. I had that idea stewing for a while and wasn't really sure how well received the idea would be. I wanted chamber flags, but I wasn't sure how interested the rest of you would be.
Do me a favor and give me feedback on them. Do they fit in the guns you are trying to use them in? Are they holding up to use? Anything you have to say about them will help me determine if I should order another batch to have on hand for those who may want any at the future group shoots.

Just got home from work and here are my thoughts. I need to get up earlier next time, I was rushing around from the jump. It was an awesome shoot, safe fun, perfect company. Thank you to all of you who helped me with my AR pistol. I feel like an idiot for leaving that bag, not sure how I missed it but I did. Thank you for making sure it's finding it's way home. I'll be in the area tomorrow around noon if anyone who's a pmsc member wants to shot an ak74 that missed the chance today.

"I wish they were more frequent." if you dont mind driving, you have the pmcs shoots april,june,august,and october. then this year theres the WCMG shoot in may. central PA shoots (probably) in july and september. there is also Stone Mountain mg shoot june 3 and 4th. october to april is your chance to stock up on ammo/parts/guns for the rest of the year.

PMSC holds a "open the public" CMP Rifle shoot the first Sunday of the month April-December at 9AM on the rifle range. The shoot consist of shooting NRA Targets at either 100 (SR1) or 200 (SR) yards from the standing, seated and prone positions. You'll need either a AR15 or any semi-auto or bolt action Military Surplus Rifle from any country, either 35 or 55 rounds of ammo (two courses of fire to choose from), and eye/ear protection. The rifles can be iron sighted or scoped. The cost is $5 and we supply the target and a shooting mat. We also can provide M1 Garand's and ammo for the shoot if you need a rifle or want to shoot one (must reserve in advance, ammo cost is .$50 a round)

July 15th should be the first one. I need to start a thread. I'd like to do September as well for the second, but I haven't talked to Vince yet. I'll get some info up on the central PA ones this week sometime.
