Ranges near Greensburg

I'm looking to join a range that is near Greensburg, PA. One of my friends at work belongs to East Hunington Sportsman's Club. Cost is $150 initial fee + $30/year. It's extremely close to work, and not far from where I live. 100, 200, and 300 yard rifle range, but only has three benches, and the one wobbles. I found a range in Irwin as well. I haven't seen many photos, but it looks decent online. I currently go to the State Gamelands, and it's a 45-50 minute drive to either one (Dunbar or Laughlintown). So, I want something closer. I'd like to be able to try shooting at longer distances--300 yards would suffice. Anybody have any experience with ranges in the Greensburg area? I'm trying to cut down on the travel time. Thanks.

Two that are close are youngwood sportsmans , and Sportsmans association of greensburg (SAG)

Youngwood has a nice club I was a member there few yrs back , they have trap league , smallish pistol range but a decent rifle range with nice benches and more than three ! Lol 100-300 yd also a smaller short range 25-50 yd and another small range slug and black powder .

SAG , I've only shot there a few times for rifle matches but they go from 100-500 yds with target pits at 500.

Other places you may want to look into are Cville and south Cville , can't comment on either though just know they exist

Coworker is a member at Youngwood...been looking into Greensburg myself...considering Murrysville Rifle Club (details below). Not bad for $50/yr, no meetings, just shoot.

Pitcairn Monroeville is probably about 30mins depending on where you are. It's one of the best clubs in the area IMO. They're doing a PAFOA shoot soon if you're interested in checking it out and meeting some fellow members. http://forum.pafoa.org/showthread.ph...highlight=PMSC
