I am glad I was able to join in for the group shoot ! Its certainly been awhile... Thanks to all for the great company, food and to those who took the time to get the ranges up and ready and safe - also to the members who brought the awesome steel that i had a blast shooting at !! Hope to join in again with everyone soon !!

PS Would have loved to try some of those uber cool rifles but I stuck with handguns, as i currently have an acute vitreous detachment going on in one eye and didn't want to take a chance on it ripping.

I want to thank everyone that let me shoot their iron. Quite a few highlights:
Scruff's M1. Alwys a crowd pleaser. "Don't mean a thing without that ping".
Minh for letting me shoot my first supressed weapon. A hk 45 that was probably 2 feet long.
Minh for his mp5 clone tac drivin, steel ringin machine.
Empty mag for his camp 9. I definately fell in love with that rifle and am actively searching for one.
Empty mag for his .308 bolt action rifle with a gas tube that holds a cleaning kit and modern flash supressor and bizarre sights. I don't know what that was but it was great.

Damn i love that camp 9.

I almost forgot, scruff's m10. I love s&w wheel's and that was the best double action revolver i have ever fired.

I'll echo what has already been said by several others: Thanks to those who organized and ran the event, helped set up and clean up, let me borrow a jacket, and cooked copious amounts of delicious bacon and burgers. Thanks Emptymag for the flags and giveaway idea. It had been a year or so since I was able to attend a shoot - it was good to get out and do some shooting again! Thanks to those who let me shoot items I hadn't shot before. It was good to meet some new folks as well.

I felt bad for a second for all the bacon I was consuming (not sure if it was guilt or my arteries clogging) but I was continually relieved by the ever-stocked plate of pig fat. I didn't want to hog it all, but it was just so good.
