Re: Court rules states cannot "shield" 2nd amendment rights
Neither states or the federal have to power to grant rights & freedoms, our rights & freedoms are enumerated in the Constitution.
Governments can only do what the Constitution allows them to do.
Of course we all realize that is the way it is supposed to work, in reality governments do whatever they can get away with. Public "servants" indeed.
