Dearest PTF Fans and Customers,
It is with great remorse that I have to announce PTF will be closing its doors. I know there have been some rumors floating around for some time about why we are closing but I assure you none of them are true. Without getting into detail we have had some issues with the ATF that have made it impossible for us to continue to do business. We will be shutting our doors on the 9th of February.
Until then ALL FIREARMS IN STOCK WILL BE LIQUIDATED! UP to 60% off! No unreasonable offer will be refused. CASH DEALS will save you a ton on CC fees. Please share this post to spread the word.
If you have gift certificates please spend them immediately. If you have guns that are pending arrival or NFA items waiting for approval you WILL receive your items. I would like to personally thank you for the years of patronage and helping me achieve my dream of having one of the most popular gun stores in the region. My heart aches that I have to leave you. I have formed some great friendships and met some amazing people over the years, but as they say "it is always darkest before the dawn". Keep your heads held high. Stand up for what you believe in and always follow your dreams.
We will still continue to run all social media accounts and maintain our stance on supporting the 2nd amendment.

There can't be much left after the ransacking last night. No AKs or ARs were left. Some shotguns and bolt guns. The handguns were down to undesirable Glock models, random semi-autos, and some revolvers.

I think they may have opened before that area went to shit. I would bet that the only think keeping them going is the loyal customers.
They do nothing I'm aware of to draw in new customers.
I've lived within a short drive for 20 years and I've been there maybe 4 times.

Their post leads me to believe that like other shops that were forced to close by the ATF, shit walked out the backdoor a few too many times.

It's a shame, normally it's because the owner allows the employees too much leeway as far as the books go.

How long were they in business?

I was looking for something else on the forum and saw a post from 2007 and I thought it was announcing the opening of this place but I could be wrong.

I've never heard of them until about a year ago and thought it was a new business.
